Hook group is the most common hook device in the crane mechanical. Hook hangs on the wire rope of the lifting mechanism with the help of pulleys such parts. Hook is the most widely used among the load handling device. It has such characteristics as simple manufacture and strong usability.

3. Lifting equipment hooks have single hook and double hooks according to shape of hook. Five strength grades M,P,S,T,V,are classified in accordance with mechanical property. Forging hook and strap type hook are manufactured according to method of manufacturing.
4. Forged hook is connected to the crane and the weight of the link, plays a vital role, must attach importance to the maintenance of it. So if the hook hoisting height limiter or hook locking device failure or damage, the hook absolutely cannot be used.
